Clash of Clans Fall 2021 Update: New Levels and Balance Changes
The next major Clash of Clans update is just around the corner, and while it won't be as big as its predecessors, we can expect to see new levels and changes to the troop and defense balance.
Most balance changes (read: nerfs) are based on analyzed in-game data, as well as community feedback and gameplay from the Championship Qualifiers. However, the Fall 2021 update will bring light nerfs to Inferno Dragon, Dragon Rider, and Mighty Yak.
The lightning attack for Hell Dragon has been slowed by 0.2 seconds, meaning it will take a little longer to accelerate for maximum damage. Dragon Rider's range has been reduced by 0.5 tiles, which should make him more susceptible to defensive attacks. Removed Mighty Yak splash damage.

Much of the community seems to think the Mighty Yak nerf was the biggest hit, but it was probably a must-have. Pet splash damage was destroying skeleton traps. Without splash damage, the Mighty Yak can be discredited.
The nerfs of Inferno Dragon and Dragon Rider now have to make some interesting decisions when it comes to attacks. Weather has been considered quite superior lately, so it will be interesting to see if more hybrid attacks come out. At the same time, if more bases adapt to these hybrid attacks, it could open something up for Lalo's strategies.
In addition to nerds, we're getting new tiers for Mortar and X-Bow on defense, as well as Miner, Yeti, Hog Rider, Golem, and Bowler.
And perhaps the most exciting announcement. 50x more Wall segments will be available for Town Hall 14 to upgrade to level 15. In addition to these balance adjustments and new troop levels, we'll also be getting a new Super Troop: the Super Archer.
The Fall 2021 update for Clash of Clans is expected to be released this week.
