BADZINGER secure the Golden Ticket from the Clash of Clans World Championship September Qualifier
BADZINGER became the fifth team to qualify for the 2021 Clash of Clans World Championship Finals after winning the Golden Ticket in today's September qualifiers.
The team earned a spot in the World Championship Finals despite losing to QSFN in the qualifying finals. This is due to a rule violation by QSFN. Supercell did not reveal what rule the team broke, but said they would take a penalty loss in the qualifying finals.
QSFN had a dominant performance in the September finals. They beat the top spot after Team Bangladesh defeated BADZINGER and SpaceStation. In the final, they looked ready to claim a Golden Ticket against BADZINGER, which they beat in the best semi-final.
The team continued their dominant form, earning 14 stars from five basic attacks from BADZINGER. Meanwhile, BADZINGER earned 13 stars.
Despite the violation, QSFN will win a Silver Ticket for the Final Chance Qualifiers, which will take place on November 13-14. Ten teams will compete for the final two places in the 2021 World Championship Final.
Supercell today also announced the 2021 Clash of Clans World Championship Finals, which will take place as an online event from December 3-5. Eight teams will compete for a share of the $700,000 prize pool.
